Avocado… Juice!

Yes, you read it right. Avocado juice is the topic in this post!

This delicious and incredibly healthy fruit is very popular to add in salads and to make tasty guacamole. I even like eating it alone with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a little bit of spices.

Now, to those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying this different form of the fruit, I present to you the avocado juice. A luscious, sweet, thick juice will make you smile ear to ear.

So just to hop into the scientific part for a bit, avocado is, as I said before, very healthy: it contains good cholesterol and many vitamins and it contributes to decrease blood cholesterol. Just be careful not to feed any part of it to your beloved pet because it is very toxic to animals!

I hope you enjoyed this segment on this special way to prepare avocados.

Now… get healthy!

Aphrodisiac Food (Fou D’ici Workshop)

Valentine’s day is coming and how could say no to a little help to satisfy our basic craving.

Just so you guys know this is all relative to context, so yes– if you screw up the date you might not get some.

Pineapple : Makes your sexual juices sweeter. So if you intend receiving or go down on, get yourself a pineapple juice or cocktail (get it?) The more the better, but have some limitations.

Spear mint : is said to counter aphrodisiac effect. So no-no.

Pepper mint : on the other hand is the opposite it’s a yes-yes. Makes you wonder about why old people love it so much…

Black Pepper : Kamasutra says that pepper and honey mix together and applied on the location down below stimulates the activity… But there’s no really proof of it working. Though I like it, it’s kinky.

Basil : Prostitutes in ancient Rome used to used the extracted oil to rub it on their chest to attract men. It does smell good, could work on me. Not too much please. Not that I’m interested in prostitues… don’t get me wrong.

Vanilla : The scent. Nuff said.

Chocolate : Consumption makes us feel comfortable inside. So if you are present when the date feels great, it is always good.

Ginger : Consumption makes us feel good inside, boost anti-body, AND helps the circulation of blood. Men, you know what to do.

Nutmeg : Hallucinogen, make your date trippin’ y’all!

There was also red berries, rose water and safran but not much detail were given.

So you go out and get some!

Featured Item : Grapefruit Dessert

I’m not sure if I should do a review or a featured item here for Bouillon Bilk. Maybe I’ll do both. But here is a dessert that is a must try! Just to tell you before-hand : I dislike grapefruit. I don’t like the sourness and bitterness. If I had to eat one I’ll probably drown it with sugar. While I was a Bouillon Bilk, I just had to try a dessert. My eyes caught glimpse of this dessert how could I say no.

Grapefruit jelly, champagne granité, white chocolate ice cream with grapefruit supreme : 9$

Any other good grapefruit meal? I’d like to hear your suggestions

Featured Item : Curry Poutine

*New type of post : Featured Item. Where I post about a single dish that stands out. Don’t expect a review on it, I want you guys to discover it by yourself! Don’t hesitate to comment what you think about and also where else you’ve had it!*

You’ve heard it right. Curry Poutine. All the goodness of this national item, but with a little “exotic” touch. I’ve had the one at Chef Guru. I heard of this thanks to two (well three) bloggers! (Shoutout to GlutonneComsmopolite & Foodie Date Night). So give it a try and post what you thought of it!

First Dinner I’ve ever made!

Not bad for a first time…

The chicken was juicy and tasty! But I would’ve liked my bacon a bit more crispy… and more flavours other than the tomatoes and romarin… I also thought there was too many crumble in my mashed potatoes… I guess I should’ve mashed it more, but my arms hurt after a while! How can women do that?! Lots of respect. But it was definitely good. It would be worth 12$ at a restaurant I thought…. What do you guys think? How would you rate it, by the looks of it?
