Hi Guys!
I know it’s been a long time :P that’s why I’m so excited to have other people filling the blanks! hahaha. Alright, because I made you guys wait I’ll review one of my favourite restaurant. Sushi Hana. This place is actually one of the jewel me and my family keeps secret but NO MORE! Alright let’s start by telling you what’s so special about it… From the impression you will get of the place, it might lower your expectation but whatever it will be, it will reach those expectations. So first the sushi chef, is actually Korean, the Kitchen chef is Japanese and have a LOT of experiences. So trust me This cultural mix is PERFECT for sushi fusion ish. BTW it is a “Apporter votre vin”
Let’s start with my favourite cold entree:
Tataki tuna.
This entree is actually a barely cooked tuna served with a citrus acidic sauce which flavours blends perfectly with the richness of the tuna. The entree price are ranged from 5-10$
Then you get… the famous maki sushi made by the chef. You have a lot of variety more than the usual sushi restaurant. Most of them are very creative and original! The chef almost comes out with lots of new ideas all the time! from Geisha (Lobster roll) to Tiger Eye (Rainbow roll meets Dragon Eye ). The price of the sushi are average (so the quality/price ratio is better than most). Plates prices range from 15$-25$
And finally you get the desert! Fried ice cream are often offered in sushi bar but this one is the best I had. You have the choice between vanilla or red bean. The ice cream is already melting while been frozen at the same time… they also put that sweet honey that incorporates the taste so well!
To show you that I am not biased here is a review from Joshua Karpati for Hour Magazine :
